About Us

Stephen is the current owner and has a background in finance and sales. We try to make your visit as entertaining as possible and we very much believe in the theory of  making sure your experience is as enjoyable as possible. After all we want you to come back !

Now to some of the other staff. Our manager and very able No.2 is Jane. She’s been with us for 15 years and looks after the running of the shop when Stephen’s away and also handles a lot of the administration. Jane is very academic and holds a Retail Jewellery qualification as well as being an experienced valuer. She’s also a demon salesperson.

Andy is our only other male salesman and has been with us for 8 years. He is a recognised expert on refurbishing our pre-owned watches and can transform a rather dowdy looking 10 year old Rolex into one that looks barely 12 months old. If you don’t believe us, bring in your watch and let him work his magic. He’s a real authority on watches and pretty good on jewellery too.

Georgina is probably our most experienced sales person (given her age – only joking) and is a great asset to the sales team. She has a flair for design and looks after all our windows. If you don’t like what you see then speak to her. By the way she also answers to Miss Duvet. If you’re really curious to know why come in and ask me !

Last but certainly not least is Marion the Shepherdess. Why is she called this…because she has her own sheep. A round trip every day of approx. 60 miles means that her spiritual home is really on the farm, but when not tending the flock she heads up our Repair Department. She’s also good with watch repairs and selling.

We are complimented by 2 other colleagues, Jim & Jacqui. Jim opens up every day and looks after all our mail, whilst Jacqui handles the accounts.

As we've already said we really want you to enjoy your visit. A couple of years ago we introduced a hot drinks dispenser. This means when you come to see us you have a huge choice of hot drinks including latte's; capuccino's; espresso's; black or white coffee; or a good old cup of Tea.

In July, 2005, we introduced chilled drinks on offer including beer; white wine, soft drinks; mineral water, and last but not least Champagne!! A variety of exotic sweets are tactically placed around the counters and when it's hot outside we switch on the "Air con".

We really want you to appreciate our retail treatment. Our selling style is professional not pushy, light hearted not laid back, and we'll give you all the time you need for making the right choice for your special jewellery purchases.
