Stephen Henderson organised the first ever “Supercar Kidz” day. This event was conceived to give kids from Ward 29, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee a day out in a variety of Supercars and relieve them from the day to day drudgery of their treatments.

The weather on the day was somewhat overcast but pleasantly warm and a large variety of cars were assembled. They included:

• McLaren SLR
• Bentley Continental GT
• 2 x Porsche 911 C4
• 1 x Porsche 911 C2
• 1 x Porsche Boxter
• 2 x TVR Griffith 500
• 1 x TVR Tuscan
• 1 x Ferrari 355 Spyder
• 1 x Ferrari F430 Spyder
• 1 x Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

The event was held at Forbes of Kingennie, a few miles outside Dundee and after a “blast” in various cars the kids were treated to a barbecue, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. Special thanks for the day go:

A great day was had by all and we look forward to Supercar Kidz 2008.
